and Verizon

have contributed to the blue-chip gauge’s intraday decline. Chevron’s shares are off $9.14, or 5.9%, while those of Verizon have declined $0.89 (2.6%), combining for an approximately 66-point drag on the Dow. JPMorgan Chase

and Johnson & Johnson

are also contributing significantly to the decline. A $1 move in any one of the 30 components of the index equates to a 6.59-point swing.
